ELECTRIC VEHICLES For electric truck fleets and private electric cars

Electric trucks and cars: every trip, tonne and kWh, tracked

Companies running electric trucks see every completed round trip, the tonnes each truck carried and the charge it used, with driver allowances worked out from the same data. For your own electric car, a small device in the OBD port shows its location, charge, range and battery health, and alerts you if it moves without you or the 12 V battery runs low.

Running electric trucks? See every trip, tonne and kWh

Autonemo runs corridor operations for a corporate fleet of 10 electric dump trucks carrying raw materials between a factory and its supply points. Every round trip, every tonne loaded and every unit of charge used is recorded, and drivers are paid from the same data.

TRIPS

Round trips that are really finished

A trip counts only when the truck has gone and come back. Trips that break down or are left open are not counted, so the monthly total is honest.

TONNAGE

Tonnes by truck and material

The load is entered at the start of each outbound trip, giving tonnes per truck, per material and the average per trip (41.8 t in October).

ENERGY

Daily kWh for the whole fleet

Battery charge at the start and end of each trip turns into kWh used per day and per trip, so you know what the electricity really costs.

DRIVER PAY

Allowance calculated automatically

Driver allowance = tonnes hauled × a per-tonne rate you set. 23 drivers' allowances were worked out from the October data, ready for payroll.

PERFORMANCE

A scorecard for every driver

Trips started and completed, on-time arrival at checkpoints (80–95% in October), average delay and tonnes, one line per driver.

EFFICIENCY

Who hauls more on less charge

kWh per tonne for each driver, loaded and empty, so you can coach drivers who use more energy for the same work.

THE APP Everything about your car in one place

Your electric car, on your phone

Open the Autonemo app to see where the car is, how much charge and range it has, how healthy its battery is and what happened on every trip. Alerts reach you the moment something needs attention, whether you're at home, at work or abroad.

Example screen. Charge, range and battery health need a car that shares battery data.

Parameters · every electric car

What you see for any electric car

These come from the Autonemo device itself, so they work whatever the make or model of your car.

GPS

Live location and trips

Where your car is right now, the route it took and every stop, on the Autonemo app.

KM

Distance per day

How far the car went each day, useful when your driver or family uses it.

CHG

Charging stops

Mark home, office and the chargers you use. See when the car charged and for how long.

12V

12 V battery voltage

The small battery that runs the car's computers and locks. An alert when it runs low saves you from a car that won't switch on.

DRV

How the car is driven

Speeding, harsh acceleration and hard braking, useful when a driver or family member has the car.

ALRT

Theft and movement alerts

An alert if the car moves when it should be parked, or leaves an area you set, such as home or office.

Parameters · cars that share battery data

Battery data from your car itself

Many electric cars report these through their OBD port. Which ones you get depends on your car's make, model and year, so we check your car before you buy.

SOC

State of charge (%)

How full the main battery is, wherever you are. Get a reminder to plug in when it drops below the level you choose.

RNG

Range left

The car's own estimate of how far it can still go. Check it before a long trip or a late drive home.

SOH

Battery health (SOH)

How much capacity the battery has kept compared with new. Records help with a warranty claim and when you sell the car.

°C

Battery temperature

Hot batteries wear faster, especially when fast charging in summer. Get an alert when the pack runs hot.

V·A

Battery voltage and current

Detailed battery readings your service centre can use to trace a fault.

kWh

Charging sessions

When the car was plugged in, how much energy each charge added, and whether it was home or fast charging.

EFF

Energy use per 100 km

How efficiently the car is being driven. A sudden rise can point to tyre pressure, a fault or hard driving.

ODO

Odometer

Distance from the car's own odometer, so service reminders are exact.

DTC

Fault warnings

Warning codes from the motor, battery and charging system, so you can book a service before the car stops on the road.

HOW IT WORKS From the car's OBD port to your phone

How Autonemo reads your electric car

A small device plugs into the car's OBD port under the dashboard. It reads location from GPS and, on supported cars, battery data from the car's computer, then sends it over the mobile network to the Autonemo platform. You see everything on the Autonemo app, with alerts when something needs your attention.

No wiring and no change to the car. Our technicians install and test it for you.

Questions

Electric car questions

Will it work on my electric car?

Yes for location, trips, charging stops, theft alerts and 12 V battery alerts, on any electric car or plug-in hybrid. Charge, range and battery health depend on whether your make and model share that data through the OBD port. Tell us your car and we'll confirm.

Can I see my car's charge and range on my phone?

On cars that share battery data, yes, on the Autonemo app wherever you are. On other cars you still get trips, distance and charging stops.

Will I know if someone moves my car?

Yes. You get an alert if the car moves when it should be parked, leaves an area you set, or the device loses power, and you can see where it is live.

Does fast charging wear out the battery?

Not on its own, but heavy use speeds up wear. In Geotab's data from 22,700 EVs, batteries lost about 3% of capacity a year where fast charging made up more than 12% of charging, against 2.3% on average.

Why does the 12 V battery matter?

It runs the car's computers, lights and locks. If it goes flat the car won't switch on, even with a full main battery. In Germany it caused half of all electric car breakdowns in 2024.

Can I see how my driver drives the car?

Yes. Trip history, speeding and harsh-driving alerts and charging stops show how the car is used. We suggest you tell your driver that the car is tracked.

How much does it cost?

The Standard Plug and Play OBD is Tk 6,000 and the Premium OBD Advance is Tk 12,000, one time, plus the monthly fee. Message us on WhatsApp with your car model for a price.
